THE PROJECT

An old guesthouse in the tourist centre of SCHENNA consisting of two houses has been partially renovated. The main house and 10 rooms were new. Categories: Wanderlust, Alpinist and Aperol - erm Dolce Vita. The bar for Stephan. The kitchen and restaurant for Rita. And the oven sauna for all those who like to sit and sweat.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

When our ‘consultant’ Christof drove into the yard with his fat car, the senior Höfler said: ‘Oh, the next super-smart guy who wants to advise us.’ Tough luck, the appointment wasn't with Helmuth, but with Junior Stephan and his Rita. ‘Should I leave?’ said Christof, ‘It would be a shame for your youth’. Helmuth seethed and ‘seethed’. And Christof stepped in.

SOLUTION

The project turned into a generational handover par excellence. Stephan the junior wanted a new bar, Rita the daughter-in-law wanted a new restaurant, Brigitte the boss didn't want to throw away her decorations, Helmuth wanted to leave everything as it was and still have a full house. Everyone got their money's worth and the costs were always kept under control. Today, they are all happy. Helmuth and Christof even drink beer together. Crazy.
